Booking an appointment for making a Will and/or setting up an enduring power of attorney

Welcome to our booking appointment system.

Our Will-making service is free, statewide and available to all Queenslanders.

Therefore, you may at times find that it can take longer to get an appointment with us compared with a private lawyer.

If making your Will is an urgent matter, we strongly encourage you to contact a lawyer or solicitor in your local area.

Once you have made a booking with us, if you are hoping for an earlier time, please check our appointment system periodically, as cancellations may free up an earlier booking.

Our enduring power of attorney service does have fees. When making a booking, please view our fees for this service.

Our appointments are generally in person, so please check that you can get to one of our locations for your meeting with us before making a booking.

Do you require an interpreter for the appointment?

If you are hearing impaired or have difficulties communicating in English, an interpreter will be required for the appointment. The interpreter will be provided for and paid by Queensland Public Trustee. We ask that you do not bring your own interpreter into your appointment.

Please call us on 1300 360 044 or email us so that we can arrange your appointment time and also book an interpreter for the appointment. Do not use the online booking form to make an appointment if you require an interpreter.

We will send you an email to confirm your appointment details, including some helpful resources and information to help you prepare for the appointment. In the meantime, you can prepare by reading the information on our website about the things to consider and what can go into a Will.
